ZAC
ZAC piles are used as intermediate posts for espalier vineyards planned for intensive production, with high yield, vigorous vegetation and high mechanization level, including wire couples handling.
The innovative profile geometry, with new reinforcement ribs, assures to the pile a higher resistance, especially laterally, but at the same time flexibility and elasticity.
Our new profile has been specifically studied to allow greater stability of the pile into the ground. After profiling, the pile is dipped into a tub of molten zinc.
This process provides the highest level of protection and a particular resistance to corrosion.
ZAC post can be equipped with two different types of hooks: N- and H-shape.
The H-shape hook is recommended for vineyards that are implemented on flat lands and with consistent use of mechanization for containment wires.
The N-shape hook is recommended for vineyards that are implemented in hilly areas, where the sloped grounds could make the wires come out of their natural seat.
It is furthermore available a specific version designed for Free Cordon systems, without side hooks but with just a cut on the top.
