HEAVY HEAD BRACKET
The heavy head bracket is a tubular metal structure measuring 1.20 m to 2.00 m width that is attached to the head posts, which edges are equipped with welded wire tensioner necessary to stretch supporting plants wires.
It is used for Pergola Trentina farming system to stretch branches wires.

USED MATERIAL
The bracket is made of different steel components that are assembled and welded together. Steel is S235JR, structural, suitable for welding and subsequent protection in a hot zinc bath.

This technique to uniformly applies a layer of zinc that is 70-100 microns thick over the entire internal and external surface, guaranteeing a long-lasting protection of the steel. The quality and quantity of hot dip galvanization meet all the parameters established by the UNI-EN-ISO-1461 standard.

When producing the brackets, we use only the best materials to ensure the system’s stability, robustness and strength. Moreover, welding is done by robots, respecting the international M.A.G. – WPS standard to achieve a uniform, continuous and controlled weld.

Head bracket fastener is made of hot-galvanized steel. It has a thickness of 3mm and is 63mm high.

The bracket consists of three main parts:

• fastener to the post
• bracket body with welded tensioners

ADDITIONAL WIRE-TIGHTNERS
Heavy head bracket is equipped with two welded wire-tighteners but, in some case, when building up pergolas, we need to tension further wires (up to eight in total), additional to the two standard ones.
Wire tightener are made of S250GD steel coated with Evoluzinc alloy, that can stretch up to 4mm wire.

They have a particular domed profile on the rear par that makes them perfectly adhere to the pile.

MECHANICAL STRENGTH
The brackets must have a very high mechanical strength since they have to support significant weights – up to dozens of tons of fruit production– without sagging and preserving fruit’s integrity. The brackets have following strength specifications:
