Fixing systems
In all covering systems, net and film used to protect the crops, once installed, must also be secured to head piles to complete the work and guarantee the system’s functionality.
There are several fixing systems which are all equally effective, but different in their final result, according to finishing sought and/or the subsequent system completion with front and side closures. Furthermore, fixing system depends also on covering type, so to ensure greater stability, functionality and durability of the solution.
TUNNEL ON HEAD STREET
In this fixing system net is laid over head street and fixed on a second transversal row of head piles. The system allows an optimal protection on the whole orchard and is ready for eventual future closures with sides and frontal net for insect protection.
SNAP-HOOKS AND PLATES
System consists in fixing film to head transversal cable through snap-hooks installed on TEKNICA plate spread along several points on film edge to keep it perfectly tensioned.
