Side closure
Side closures, together with frontal one, grants the total closure of the system to protect crops from animals and especially insects attack, that may severely harm production.
We offer two different kind of side closure.
SIMPLE SIDE CLOSURE
An anti-insect net is laid from the top of the posts down to the soil, placed directly on anchor cables and locked next to anchorages. This will fully protect the outer side of the orchard.
After fruits are harvested, and in any case before the winter (when snowfall and heavy storms might seriously damage the structure), nets are rolled up and fixed along the longitudinal wire, waiting to be reopened at the beginning of the following season.
SIDE SPACER CLOSURE
An anti-insect net is laid from the top of the posts down to the soil, placed directly on anchor cables and locked next to anchorages. This will fully protect the outer side of the orchard.
To grant necessary space for the natural growth of the plants, a spacer is installed on each side post sustaining the net and ensuring sufficient space for the plant and other agricultural activities.
After fruits are harvested, and in any case before the winter (when snowfall and heavy storms might seriously damage the structure), nets are rolled up and fixed along the longitudinal wire, waiting to be reopened at the beginning of the following season.
