Kalamita
The Kalamita system is used to equip an orchard, with already installed multi-functional frontal net, so that insects – especially the Halyomorpha Halis (Asian stink bug) – cannot enter.
This system allows tractor entry and exit without opening and closing all head closure at the same time and without needing to climb up and down the machines.
HOW IT WORKS
A pair of high-resistance polyethylene profiles are installed on nets side edges. They contain magnets set at defined distances, which attractiveness assures nets closure in any weather conditions. As shown on video here below, tractor and connected machine (sprayer, cutting machine, etc.) enter the orchard pushing on KALAMITA system until they open to let him through. Once tractor is inside, the magnets inside the profile will automatically close without any help of a third person.
The system can be installed at any time using various types of net (anti-hail, Carpocapsa, Suzuki, etc.) and on any type of existing covering, even anti-rain or shading.
