Agea, one of the European agricultural subsidies agency, has recently approved the operating instructions concerning the modalities and conditions for access to community subsidies for the restructuring and for the conversion of vineyards for the 2018/2019 campaign.
Keep in mind: 30th June 2018 is the deadline for submitting applications.
The beneficiaries can be natural and legal persons who lead vineyards with wine grapes and those who hold valid authorizations for the replanting of vineyards, except for authorizations for new plants referred to in Article 64 of the regulation.
The activities that can be facilitated are the following:
– varietal conversion;
– the different relocation or replanting of the vineyard;
– replanting due to phytosanitary reasons;
– improvement of vineyard management techniques.
Agea’s support will be provided in various forms, such as: compensation to producers, up to 100%, for loss of income; contribution to restructuring and conversion costs, with variable amounts.
The deadline for the submission of applications for support for the 2018/2019 campaign is set for 30 June 2018 for the areas located in the following Italian regions for which OP Agea is responsible: Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Lazio, Liguria, Marche, Molise, Piedmont, Puglia, Sardinia, Sicily, Umbria, Valle d’Aosta and in the autonomous provinces of Trento and Bolzano.
