The Y-shaped cultivation system features two plant walls from the same plants, whose four main branches are inclined. The plants are supported by strong posts positioned at a distance of five meters along the row (ten in case of anti-hail systems) and of 3.50 to 4 meters from each other.

In order to ensure proper inclination of the productive wall, a straight bracket is installed on the upper part of the post (at about 1.80 meters above the ground), while another (smaller and with a width of only 0,80 meters) is mounted on the lower part, at approximately 80 centimeters from the ground. A wire, with a diameter of 2.70 to 3.15 mm, will be placed at each end of both brackets.

Key advantages:

  • Optimal sun exposure
  • Good vigour control
  • No rubbing damage
  • Easy harvest
