V-SHAPED ORCHARD

The plants are planted at a maximum distance of 0,50 meters from each other and alternately inclined to the right and left. The same are supported by strong posts, at a distance of five meters along the row (ten in case of anti-hail covering systems) and of 3.20 to 3.50 meters from each other. In order to ensure proper inclination of the productive wall, a straight bracket is installed on each intermediate post. The same are positioned 1.80 meters above the ground and are between 1.20 to 1.50 meters in width. Two wires with a diameter of 2.70 mm are stretched on the their ends.

Key advantages:

  • Optimal sun exposure
  • Good vigour control
  • Low structural center of gravity
  • Low management costs
