ico-frutta ico-uvaKONCRETO prestressed reinforced concrete piles are lighter than the KLASSIC piles thanks to the different formulation of raw materials. Nevertheless, also the KONCRETO piles are made using the prestress technique, which ensures greater mechanical resistance.

The KONCRETO pile has a trapezoidal shape with four smooth sides and no edges. This finish allows the use of harvesting machinery in vineyards and does not cause wear to the hail nets in orchard installations. Our trademark is on the front: V for Valente!

Celaxite: the principal raw material used to make the KONCRETO posts consists of celaxite, an innovative mix of screened, calibrated and washed natural materials. These materials give the Celaxite a very high strength that is far superior to traditional concrete.

High carbon low relaxation steel braid structure: a reinforcement is inserted inside the KONCRETO pile to transmit the stress to the product. The steel used is highly resistant (r=1870 N/mm2) and is made of braids that adhere perfectly to the concrete, consisting of two or three intertwined strands with a diameter of 2.25mm. Specifically:

  • Normal iron rod 2 x 2.25 mm strands
  • Reinforced iron rod 3 x 2.25 mm strands

The quality of the KONCRETO post is guaranteed by DNV through the Product Quality Certificate, a document which specifies the maximum and minimum tolerances of posts regarding the following criteria: bending resistance of the finished product; concrete strength; resistance to freezing; straightness of the product.

For aesthetic reasons, the piles can be supplied in brown colour: colouring is carried out during mixing, in order to ensure long-lasting durability. Additionally, it is possible to drill holes in the piles up to a maximum of three, where the first hole is at least 10cm from the top of the pile.
