ANTI-HAIL POST COVERING CAPS
The post covering caps are pressed on the upper end of the post, to which they perfectly adhere. The caps do not slip out since the hole section is slightly smaller than that of the post’s. As a matter of additional precaution, a loop screw is used to attach the post covering cap in a permanent manner. The caps are used to attach the longitudinal and transversal wires and cables; furthermore, they protect the net, or plastic film, from any tear that may be caused by the posts’ rough surfaces.
ANTI-RAIN POST COVERING CAPS
Anti-rain post covering caps are a reinforced version of the anti-hail post covering caps, as the strain imposed by the wind on anti-rain films and, therefore, on the post covering caps, is much greater than normal. These caps are equipped with a reinforcement cage that has to be firmly fixed to the post (normally using a stud bolt) in order to create a single structure between the post and the protective cap; the latter is equipped with screws to fix the lengthwise and diagonal wires and cables in place.
